PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and efficiently cast a high quality copper-iron alloy wire rod having high copper content and to improve the castability, reliability and quality by squeezing up molten copper-iron alloy having high copper content through a nozzle, having desirably round cross section and naturally dropping into cooling water. ;SOLUTION: A molten copper-iron alloy 5 having high copper content is squeezed up through the nozzle 3 under a fixed molten metal pressure and naturally dropped Y into the cooling water 8 and the squeezed molten alloy is cooled with the natural drop Y into the water and shrunk to the squeeze- diameter to cast the copper-iron alloy wire rod 10.
