PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for a hypha culture vessel and hypha culture vessel capable of improving the growth and propagation of hyphae and culturing the pure hyphae having activity at a high density and a hypha culture method using this hypha culture vessel. SOLUTION: This cap for the hypha culture vessel is used for hermetically sealing a vessel body 1 after putting a material for mushroom beds and the hyphae 9 into the vessel body 1 in order to culture the hyphae 9. The part of the vessel body of a cap body in contact with a mouth part 3 is properly provided with vent holes 4 and the cap is provided with a filter 5 which hardly allows the passage of bacterial, hyphae, fungi, the spores of mushrooms, etc., while allowing the passage of air and steam so as to cover the vent holes 4. The entrance and emergence of the air in the vessel body 1 are entirely executed through this filter 5.
