PURPOSE: To save telephone charges by providing a telephone function and an automatic calibration function with one telephone line by automatically dialing the telephone number of a demander according to a prescribed procedure at an automatic calibrating device and making possible the transmission of calibration data corresponding to a password. ;CONSTITUTION: When remotely calibrating the calibration data of respective integrators 5, 6 and 7 for electric power, gas and city water installed at respective demanders from a calibration center in the automatic calibration system utilizing telephone lines, a host computer 1 controls an automatic calling device ADS and performs calling by automatically dialing the telephone number of the demander. At such a time, the telephone number is dialed according to a prescribed procedure, a network control processor RCP on the demander side recognizes that the call is originated from the automatic calibrating device by using a calling signal detection circuit 8 and transmits the calibration data corresponding to the password after an automatic answer through the telephone line.
