CAD systems, and data conversion apparatus of Bezier curve in CAD system

摘要

PURPOSE: To enable data concerning illustration generated in an easy CAD system in a design supporting CAD system to be used by converting control point data stipulating three-dimension Bezier curves into control point data stipulating fifth Bezier curves. ;CONSTITUTION: A free curved line is expressed by the three-dimensional Bezier curves in the easy CAD system 10 and it is expressed by the fifth Bezier curves in the design supporting CAD system 20. The three-dimensional curves are picked-up from a CAD data file which is converted from an IGES data file and control point data concerning the three-dimensional Bezier curves is converted into control point data concerning the fifth Bezier curves by an order converting processing 23. An engineer designs a product in the design supporting CAD system 20 with a shape expressed by the CAD data file adding control point data concerning the converted fifth Bezier curves as a base.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
