PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To return a part of flowing water into the ground, and to prevent the deluge of a municipal river, the lowering of a ground-water level, etc., by fitting a water- permeable board into a notched section formed to the bottom section of the waterway of a drainage canal unit and penetrated to upper and lower sections. ;SOLUTION: Notched sections 2, 2, in which cross sections are formed in an inverted trapezoidal shape, etc., and which are penetrated to upper and lower sections, are formed to the bottom section of the drainage canal unit 1 consisting of a U-shaped side ditch unit made of concrete at proper pitches. Water-permeable boards 3 having a shape fitted to the notched sections 2 are inserted detachably to the notched sections 2. A place to be installed is dug down as required, a required number of water retentive boards 4 are laid, and the drainage canal units 1 are arranged on the boards 4 and a unit row is formed and buried. Consequently, a part of the flowing water of rainwater, etc., collected in the drainage canal units 1 is returned into the ground through the water-permeable boards 3 regardless of a water level. Accordingly, the phenomena of the deluge of municipal rivers, the lowering of a ground-water level, the drying-up of spring water, a change into a heat island, etc., can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
