PURPOSE:To obtain dot pattern image data at high speed with high accuracy by totally parallelly exerting raster scanning upon the plural adjacent dots of a dot pattern picture element in taking out data from the set of vector data and developing the taken-out data for each fundamental graphic. CONSTITUTION:The vector data stored in a storage part 10 is supplied to a dot development control circuit 20 and developed to the dot pattern image and this developed data is stored into a dot pattern memory 30. In such a case, the number of times for repeating the scan is reduced by totally parallelly exerting the raster scan upon the plural adjacent dots of the dot pattern picture element. Thus, the dot pattern image data can be obtained at high speed with high accuracy from graphic information recorded in a vector recording system.
