PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the threshing work when a lower rear cover is kept in a housed state. ;SOLUTION: A scattering screw 32 to transfer cut straws in axial direction and scatter the straws and a lower cover 30 to protect the circumference of the scattering screw 32 are placed under a cutter for cutting waste straw and placed at the back of a thresher of a combine 10. The rear part of the lower rear cover 31 is tilted inward around a rotation center 31a to enable the housing of the lower rear cover 31 in the lower cover 30. A housed state detection sensor 46 is placed at the right axial end of the scattering screw 32. When the lower rear cover 31 is put into the housed state, the state is detected by the contact of the lower rear cover 31 with the housed state detection sensor 46.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
