PURPOSE: To provide an interpolar magnetic particle inspection system in which the total weight can be reduced relatively to the amount of flux and the waterproofness can be enhanced while dissipating heat sufficiently from the coil while protecting the pole part of core against damage and making occurrence of the pointing of pole hard. ;CONSTITUTION: The interpolar magnetic particle inspection system comprises a coil 6 wound around a core 4. Since amorphous iron is employed as the material of the core 4, the required quantity of coil wire can be reduced drastically while keeping the total weight of core substantially constant.
