PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinneret that enables efficient production of odd-shaped sectional fiber realizing multi optical functions. ;SOLUTION: This spinneret for sea-island formation comprises island parts which are a core member for odd-shaped sectional fiber of sea island type capable of developing optical functions, a sea part surrounding the island parts, a polymer conduit assembly in which a number of polymer conduits 106 having fine path through which molten polymer forming the island parts flows are continually arranged, and a partitioning vessel 108 for island flow path control arranged so as to surround the polymer conduit assembly in such a way that each conduit end of the polymer conduits 106 in contact with a spinneret base is open-ended and that the shape of the partitioning vessel 108 for island flow path control can be freely designed for arbitrary installation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
