PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coal ash contg. a large amt. of small globular grains and high in fineness by rubbing and pressing the coal ash to grind the grains and globurizing the amorphous grain and fused grain. SOLUTION: The coal ash globurizing device 1 is provided with the rotating disk 2 and fixed disk 3 with a slight clearance between the opposed faces, and caol ash 4 is held between the opposed flat faces which are relatively rotated. A through-hole 3a piercing both side faces is formed in the center of the fixed disk 3, and the small-diameter part of a funnel 5 is inserted therein. When the coal ash 4 is globurized by the device 1, the disk 2 is rotated, and the coal ash is charged into the funnel 5. The coal ash 4 is passed through the through-hole 3a of the disk 3 and held between the rotating disk 2 and fixed disk 3. Further, the coal ash 4 is layered by the rotation of the disk 2 and centrifugally moved toward the periphery. Since there is a difference in traveling speed between the grain layers, the grains are rubbed, pressed and globurized.
