PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which efficiently discharges, in an energy-saving manner, harmful gas generated at the time of idling at the start of a car in a garage for a large car. ;SOLUTION: In an idling area 7 for a car, a slope downwardly inclined toward the rear of a parking floor 4 of a car 2 is provided and an exhaust gas diffusing prevention plate 5 is provided on a vertical wall of a building at the rear of the car 2 at a level higher an exhaust port of a car 2 in a direction parallel to the slope. Further, a suction port of an exhaust device is provided at a corner of the floor 4 of the car 2 and a vertical wall at the rear of the car 2, and the suction port is connected to the exhaust device and the idling area 7 of the car 2 is isolated from the space surrounding the area 7 by an air curtain 8 from a ceiling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
