PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device of a complete round rotary machine which can be operated by providing a partition valve, a seal ring, a seal bar, a sleeve, a cam, and a spring in the rotary machine having a complete round rotor with a groove on a circumferential face. SOLUTION: A partition valve 14 which adapts to a shape of an arclike groove 84 formed in a complete round rotor 74 is provided and is pressed lightly on the groove 84 of the complete round rotor 74 at all times. The partition valve 14 divides the groove 84 into front and rear parts. A fluid passage in the valve from a front half of a contact part of the partition valve 14 and a bottom part of the groove and a wall hole of a sleeve 20 provided at a fixed position on the outside of the partition valve 14 are opened and closed by the partition valve which moves vertically in accordance with the depth of the groove. Fluid in a front part of the partition valve 14 is discharged into the groove of the complete round rotor groove 84 in a rear part of the partition valve or to the outside thereof. Seal rings are provided between the complete round rotor 74 and a casing 71, among the sleeve 20, the partition valve 14 and the casing 71, and between the partition valve 14 and the sleeve 20, respectively.
