PREVENTIVE DEVICE AGAIST MIXING OF OIL AT UNLOADING IN GAS STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent mixing of different kinds of oil on unloading oil, by providing a key plate corresponding to the oil kind stored in the upstream hatch of a valve, in the valve so as to restrict the valve operation while the key plate is set in the valve. ;SOLUTION: A holder 4 retaining a key plate 6 to enable the connection to an oil inlet metal tool at an underground tank side is fitted to a block 1c keeping a spindle 1a, fixed to the tank side. When a key plate 6 on which an oil kind is shown is set in a holder 4, a projection 4b of a holder 4 is completely covered and when a wire 5 is hooked around a handle 1b, the handle 1b can not be turned unless the key plate 6 is removed from the holder 4. The oil kind can be confirmed by an operator. And further, when the key plate 6 is set to the oil inlet metal tool of the underground tank side, the oil kind is again confirmed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
