PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Mn alloy having excellent corrosion resistance and used for structures such as boats, marine structures, industrial vehicles or the like. ;SOLUTION: This rolled or extruded Al-Mg-Mn aluminum alloy product for welding machine structures is the one in which the number of Mg2Si particles within the range from 0.5 to 5μm lies in the range from 150 to 2000 pieces per mm2, preferably within the range from 300 to 1500 pieces per mm2 and having a compsn. contg., by weight, 3.0 to 6.5% Mg, 0.2 to 1.0% Mn, 0.8% Fe, 0.05 to 0.6% Si and 1.3% Zn and contg., at need, 0.15% Cr and/or one or more kinds of elements among Cu, Ti, Ag, Zr and V respectively by 0.30% and contg. other elements respectively by 0.05% and by 0.15% in total with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
