PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Mn alloy having excellent corrosion resistance and used for structures such as boats, marine structures, industrial vehicles or the like. ;SOLUTION: This rolled or extruded Al-Mg-Mn aluminum alloy product for welding machine structures is the one in which the number of Mg₂Si particles within the range from 0.5 to 5μm lies in the range from 150 to 2000 pieces per mm², preferably within the range from 300 to 1500 pieces per mm² and having a compsn. contg., by weight, 3.0 to 6.5% Mg, 0.2 to 1.0% Mn, 0.8% Fe, 0.05 to 0.6% Si and 1.3% Zn and contg., at need, 0.15% Cr and/or one or more kinds of elements among Cu, Ti, Ag, Zr and V respectively by 0.30% and contg. other elements respectively by 0.05% and by 0.15% in total with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
