PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fit a gableboard or a fascia board by holding a gableboard or a fascia board with a metal fitting, providing a thumbscrew for adjusting the height of the gableboard or the fascia board and a thumbscrew for adjusting angle against the gradient of a roof on the metal fitting, and detachably fitting the metal fitting to a rafter. ;SOLUTION: This metal fitting main body 5 is formed with a template 6 for adjusting the dimension of a gableboard or a fascia board, a thumbscrew 7 for moving the template 6 up and down, a thumbscrew 3 for fixing the angle, a free hole 4 for changing the angle, and a small bolt for the axis. The main body 5 is fixed to a rafter by screws or nails 1 so as to fit the gableboard or the fascia board, and after fitting, the screws or the nails 1 are drawn out so as to detach the main body 5 and advance to the next process.
