OIL-FREE SCROLL COMPRESSOR AND COOLING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of noise and to save space, in an air compressor and a compressor used for refrigeration and air-conditioning. SOLUTION: A cooling fan 4 arranged on one side of a two-shaft motor 2 is provided, and an exhaust duct 12 incorporating a cooler 3 is arranged on the discharge side of the cooling fan 4 is provided. Further, a body duct 11 is arranged on the suction side of a cooling fan 4, and and coupled in series to the cooling air outlet 1a of a compressor body block 1. A compressor body block 1, a cooler 3, and a duct are contained above the two-shaft motor 2 and within a range of the axial length of the two-shaft motor 2 containing a cooling fan 4. Since velocity of discharge flow is reduced through reduction of a cooling air amount, the generation of noise is reduced. Further, arrangement suitable for cooling is effected and saving of a space is practicable.
