DATA-CENTRALIZED CONTROL TYPE AUDIO/DYNAMIC IMAGE REPRODUCTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio sound/dynamic image reproduction system, in which reproduction is conducted smoothly without causing troubles such as interruption in a video image or an audio and power consumption is effectively saved. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a shared hard disk unit that stores audio moving image data, plural sound/dynamic image reproducing devices 4 connected to the shared hard disk unit and an auxiliary storage device 68, that is provided to each sound/dynamic image reproducing device 4 and stores temporarily a part of the data transferred from the shared hard disk unit prior to its reproduction. The auxiliary storage device 68 has two kinds of operating states at least, the usual operating state and the standby operating state whose the power consumption is less than that of the usual operating state. Furthermore, the sound/dynamic image reproducing device 4 is provided with an operation control means 60, so that the operating state of the auxiliary storage device 68 is made to the standby operating state, when no reproduction is conducted.
