MANUFACTURE OF TENSILE MEMBER OF GROUND ANCHOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of voids even in an unbond sheath by making rustproof oil penetrate a gap between steel wires of PC steel stranded wire. ;SOLUTION: PC steel stranded wire 8 is heated and then passed through rustproof oil 15 heated to be melted by a heater 16 and pressurized by a pump 18. An unbond sheath 22 is filled with the previously heated and molten rustproof oil 15, and the PC steel stranded wire 8 where the rustproof oil 15 penetrates to the inside thereof is inserted in the sheath. As the PC stranded wire 8 is heated, even if the oil 15 touches the wire 8, it is not solidified, and further as the oil 15 is pressurized, the oil 15 penetrates to the inner gap. As the unbond sheath 22 is already filled with the oil 15, voids will not be generated at the time of insertion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
