PURPOSE: To provide a method wherein a turbine is prevented from wearing to breakage due to dust in exhanst as fed to the turbine by detecting the dust concentration of the gas and limiting the amount of the dust. ;CONSTITUTION: In a blast furnace gas energy recovering turbine 11 used for both drying and moistening formed such that a blast furnace 1 is coupled to the inlet 12 of the turbine 11 through a first line 6 having a wet type dust collector 4 and a first switching valve 5 and a second line 9 having a dry type dust collector 7 and a second switching valve 8, a wear detecting device 14 is mounted in the diffuser 15 of the turbine 11. Dust concentration in the turbine is detected by means of wear measurements by utilizing wear measurements detected by a wear detecting device 14 and a result is guided to a computer 17. Further, abnormal dust concentration is decided by the computer 17 and by means of a signal from the computer 17, first and second switching valves 5 and 8 are operated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
