PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress transmission of vibration from a columnar structure side to a mounting base side or from the mounting base side to the columnar structure side by elastically supporting a towery or columnar structure interposing a vibration isolator between the lower end base part of the towery or columnar structure and the mounting base. ;SOLUTION: By means of a leader 1, a casing pipe 11 for driving a sand pile and a vibro hammer are suspended via a steel wire rope and a shock absorber. A base part 2 serving as a shaft bearing base is arranged in the lower end of the leader 1, and the leader 1 is supported on a journal part 3 tiltably. A mounting base 4 is fixed in the predetermined position on a hull 10, and by interposing a vibration isolator 5 such as a vibration isolating rubber between an upper plate part 4a of the mounting base 4 and a bottom plate 2a of the base part 2 in the leader lower end, the upper plate part 4a and the bottom plate 2a are connected together by means of a bolt, so that the leader 1 is elastically supported. In this way, vibration of a vibro hammer or vibration due to an impact reaction force is damped by means of the vibration isolator 5, so that vibration transmitted from the leader 1 to the hull 10 can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
