PURPOSE:To promote the strength and scene of a revetment and to secure an installation space by erecting another steel sheet piles to a river side separat ing from an upright steel sheet pile revetment in a line to provide a terrace revetment section, and burying a water purifier for a river in the terrace revet ment section. CONSTITUTION:Another steel sheet piles 20 are erected to a river X side separat ing from an upright steel sheet pile revetment 1 provided to the ground Y side in a line to provide a terrace revetment section 2. After that, a purifier 3 consisting of stone, plastic pieces, charcoal, etc. is installed in the ground of the terrace revetment section 2. Then, a water intake 21 for the river is provided on the surface of a wall of the steel sheet piles 20, and purified water is pumped up by a pump placed in concrete sheet 10 to flow to the river X side from a running water channel 22. The steel sheet pile revetment 1 has a strong construction by hold-down of the terrace revetment section 2. The scene is promoted by a step revetment construction. According to the constitu tion, an installation space for the purifier 3 can be secured.
