PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a tool by one change arm between two tool main spindles and a tool magazine staying a position separated for an automatic tool change device. ;SOLUTION: This machine is provided with a first turning means H2 for turning (swinging) an entire automatic tool change device H between a side in which a tool magazine G is arranged and a side in which tool main spindles are arranged, a first reciprocating means H3 which can reciprocate an change arm G while guiding on a straight line by a distance with free engagement/ disengagement with a tool mounted on a tool main spindle or a tool held on a tool holder 23 in a tool main spindle side or the tool magazine G side under such state taht the first turning means H2 is stopped and a second turning means H4 which can turn a grip part H1 by the orthogonally crossed angle of two tool main spindles 6, 7 under such state that the first turning means H2 and the first reciprocating means H3 are stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
