AUTOMATIC ORGANIZATION FAULT MANAGEMENT BY AUTONOMOUS AGENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fault management method by an autonomous agent in which computer resources can be vtilized more effectively ;SOLUTION: A load of a CPU is checked (1) before acquisition of information within a processing range from a blackboard and start of processing, the existence of an autonomous agent of other same kind not in use is checked (2), and the autonomous agent is added (3) when the other same kind of autonomous agent not in use is in existence and a CPU operating rate is smaller than a limit of the CPU operating rate corresponding to the autonomous agent. Furthermore, in the case that the autonomous agent of the other same kind not in the processed state is in existence, a blackboard is monitored (4) so as to automatically adjust number of autonomous agents.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
