PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constantly and surely identify the beginnings and ends of respective lots, regardless of the winding direction of a frame, in a case, where the electronic parts having different lots are continously fitted to a long size frame, and are wound on a reel from one end side of the electronic parts. ;SOLUTION: In a method where the lots of electronic parts 2 and 3 fitted to the frame 1 are identified, by continously fitting the electronic parts 2 and 3 to a long size frame 1, and providing lot identifying marks 6 and 7 on the beginnings and ends of the electronic parts 2 and 3, to detect the marks 6 and 7; the identifying marks 6 and 7 for the beginnings and ends of the lots are formed, into patterns so as to be symmetrical to the right angular surface to the londitudinal direction of the frame 1, to detect the beginnings and ends of the lots by the aligning order of the patterns, thereby identifying the respective lots.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
