PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack for executing a building and a method for constructing multi-storied building using the jack which are capable of obtaining large rise, excellent in safety and workability, and capable of performing the execution at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: A multi-stored building construction method comprises a lifting pipe 21 one end of which is closed to lift a heavy article, a lifting cylinder 24 to lift the lifting pipe 21 from its inside, a base pipe to be connected to a lower part of the lifting cylinder 24, to support the weight of the lifting cylinder 24, and to elevate/lower inside the lifting 21 in an integrated manner with the operation of the lifting cylinder 24, and a sheath pipe 22 to store the lifting pipe 21, and a jack for sheath pipe 22 for executing a building and a jack-up method using the jack are provided with lock pins 26, 28 outside the sheath pipe 22, and a mechanism capable of tightening and releasing the lock, and elevates/lowers the lifting pipe 21 along the sheath pipe 22 using the mechanism and the lifting cylinder 24 inch by inch.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
