Carriage rail carriage guide apparatus null of pen lettering

PURPOSE: To enhance precision of drawing figures in a pen lettering machine. ;CONSTITUTION: Rail carriages are provided in both ends of a guide rail supporting a pen carriage. A rotating shaft 28 is axially supported on a pair of rail carriages 26. A roller 29 and a pinion gear 30 are respectively fitted to both ends of the rotating shaft 28. A rail 33 is provided on a base frame 32 and a portal rack rail 31 is fitted to the upper part of the rail 33. Spacer parts 33a are provided on the rear surfaces of both end parts of the rail 33. The middle part of the rail 33 is floated from the base frame 32. The roller 29 is rolled on the rail 33 and the pinion gear 30 is engaged with a rack 31a of the upper part and the rail carriages 26 are traveled. The rail carriages on both ends are synchronously traveled through the rotating shaft 28.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
