PURPOSE:To decrease whitening and to widen the range of the colors which can be produced so that the colors having no clouding can be obtd. by changing the degree of swelling of a photosensitive material and subjecting the material to multiple exposures to just one sheet of the photosensitive material, thereby producing the color Lippmann hologram. CONSTITUTION:A 1st subject 1 is photographed by successively moving the visual point of a camera 2 in horizontal and vertical directions and using color films. Three sheets of holographic stereograms are produced by using 3 pieces of the films R, G, B obtd. by color sepn. of said color films. A sheet of the holographic stereogram 20 among the R, G and B is illuminated with the conjugation light at the time of the photographing and the photosensitive material subjected to the swelling treatment of the above-mentioned color is placed in the position where the reconstructed image exists. The material is then subjected to the exposing. The stage of exposing the photosensitive material after subjecting the same to the swelling treatment in such a manner is executed 3 times for the R, G and B and the photosensitive material is subjected to development processing according to a suitable development recipe, by which the natural color Lippmann hologram is obtd. The influence of whitening is decreased to a lower level in this way and the bright and pure colors are reproduced.
