PURPOSE:To reduce the mounting area of a gas-insulated switchgear by linearly arranging three-phase conductors from the nozzle neck of a circuit breaker to a current transformer tank so as to eliminate any bent section from the conductors and reduce the lengths of the conductors and tank. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of the upper nozzle neck 50 of a circuit breaker tank 2 is made larger than that of the lower nozzle neck. Inside the nozzle neck 50, three-phase conductors 4a-4c extended from arc-extinguishing chambers of each layer of the breaker are arranged in the form of the same equilateral triangle as that used for arranging the three-phase conductors 4a-4c in the tank 70a of a current transformer fixed to the nozzle neck 50. As a result, the conductors 4a-4c are linearly arranged from the nozzle neck 50 to the inside of the tank 70a. Therefore, the lengths of the conductors can be reduced and, accordingly, the tank 70a of the current transformer can be made smaller in size and shorter in length.
