PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a bedridden old, sick, or healthy person sleeping in a bed from an earthquake by providing a steel pipe shelter. ;SOLUTION: A solid framework A that has an enough space to keep a bed 19 therein is formed with steel pipes. Protection boards 8 with numerous punch holes are installed as all or part of the exterior of the framework A except the entrance for the bed 19 in a manner that the bed 19 is put therein. The top and bottom portions of the framework A are composed of an upper frame 5 and a lower frame 1 respectively. Both the upper frame 5 and the lower frame 1 are connected with plural strut 10 adhered in-between. A reinforcement beam component 7 is installed at the center of the upper frame 5 and/or the lower frame 1.
