Since the flocked parts of the brushes 451 and 452 are always dipped in the water or liq. chemical in the tank 453 while being rotated, the flocked parts of the brushes 451 and 452 are impregnated with the liq. chemical. The flocked parts of the brushes 451 and 452 impregnated with the liq. chemical are transferred below the rotary band filter 3 and brought into contact with the elements 11 hung scatteringly from the supporting shaft 12 while being rotated, and the element 11 is cleaned.
