METHOD FOR RETRIEVING IDENTIFICATION SPECIFIC NUMBER CODE OF DISK LOADING PART IN OPTICAL DISK CHANGER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately retrieve an identification specific number code (ID) of a disk loading part and to reproduce a desired disk, irrespective of any rotating direction of a turntable. ;SOLUTION: This retrieval is carried out via the following decision steps. All data for retrieving the IDs of the disk loading parts of the optical disk changer system are initialized at S601. Whether the present ID is identical to a selected ID or not is decided at S602. Whether the turntable of the optical disk changer system is rotated or not is decided at S606. Whether a detecting signal is generated once at prscribed time intervals or not is decided at S614. Whether the previous pulse and the present pulse are in a 1st logical state or a 2nd logical state is decided, and consequently, a decision is made as to whether the ID of the disk loading part is the selected ID of not.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
