PURPOSE:To correct an error generated from unstable data and to improve reliability of the data by making a distinction between measured absorbance used for an operation and other measured absorbances and by displaying it on a display screen together with the result of the operation. CONSTITUTION:When data on measured absorbance converted into digital signals are inputted from an analyzing element 1, a processing device 3 of a data processing element 2 stores the data on the measured absorbance in a storage device 4. Items of reception and analysis and others are given to these data, and when the items of reception and analysis are specified by an input device 6 after the data are stored in the device 4, therefore, an arithmetic processing is executed in the device 3. On the occasion, retrieval of the data on the measured absorbance is executed by using the specified items of reception and analysis as keys and the data on the measured absorbance to be used for an operation are selected. Then, operations of a reaction speed and others are executed by using the selected measured absorbance, and the measured absorbance in a reaction process and the results of operations are displayed in CRT of an output device 5 by numerals and graphs.
