PURPOSE: To produce a current collector shoe plate material made of a copper- impregnated carbon sintered body having high toughness and high electrical conductivity. ;CONSTITUTION: This current collector shoe plate material is constituted of a copper-impregnated carbon sintered body obtd. by impregnating Cu or a Cu alloy into a carbon fiber reinforced carbon sintered body having 18 to 27% porosity, and it has characteristics of ≥1100kgf/cm2 bending strength, ≥4kgf.cm/cm2 ChaRpy impact value and ≥400×mΩ.cm resistivity.
