PURPOSE:To hold stable load by providing a discharge port control apparatus moving the height of the lower edge of a grain discharge port up and down to control load. CONSTITUTION:Cleaned rice flows down along a flow plate 24 from a grain discharge port 8 and falls in a discharge cylinder 26 to be supplied to a vibration screen 28 from a discharge port 27 through a supply port 27. When the position of the lower end of a plate body 23 is determined to be inputted, a small-sized motor 21 is reversibly rotated corresponding to said position and the pinion mounted on the motor shaft is also reversibly rotated. The rack lever 22 meshed with the pinion is moved up and down by the reversible rotation thereof and the plate body 23 is also moved up and down and the load due to the own wt. of the rice in a cleaning chamber 6 is increased and decreased with the up-and-down movement of the plate body 23 to control a cleaning degree. A current detector 61 detecting the driving current of a main motor 10 is provided and electrically connected to the small-sized motor 21 to control the friction force applied on rice. By this method, load fluctuation can be absorbed.
