PURPOSE: To automate an account transfer registering procedure by reading out account information from a cash card and a storing company code, etc., from an account registering card and registering the read information in a storage area for every customer together with input information. CONSTITUTION: A processor 31 in a financial institution reads out a storing company code, a specified number drawing-out date and amout from an account registering card 1 inserted into a card reader 32, reads out a bank code, a branch number and an account number from a cash card 4 and temporarily stores these information in a storage device 35. When a password number inputted by a customer is correct, the information is temporarily registered in an account master file 37 and then transmits the account transfer information to a system 2 in a storing company. At the time of receiving information indicating no error from the storing company, the temporarily regisetered account transfer information is surely registered in the file 37. Consequently, the misregistration or the like of account transfer can be removed as much as possible, registering labor can be omitted and the account transfer can quickly be registered.
