摘要

PURPOSE:To produce aminopeptidase P using a microbial strain belonging to genus Escherichia or genus Saccharomyces by extracting a DNA having a genetic information participating in the production of aminopeptidase P and treating the DNA by a genetic engineering technique. CONSTITUTION:Escherichia coli HB101 is used as a DNA donor and a DNA having a genetic information participating in aminopeptidase formation is extracted from the strain. A microorganism of genus Escherichia or Saccharomyces is transformed with a plasmid integrated with said DNA. The above DNA has a base sequence starting from the 1st - 3rd ATG sequence and ending at the 1321st - 1323rd CAA sequence.
