PURPOSE: To accurately measure necessary speed or power, and train an athletic action in a similar shape by detecting pullout speed of a rope whose one end is fixed to an athlete and other end is fixed to a winding drum, and performing operation processing on the detecting signal. ;CONSTITUTION: The other end of a rope 2 whose one end is fixed to an athlete by an installing tool 50 is fixed to a winding drum of a rope winding mechanism 4. A speed increasing mechanism 6 is connected to the rope winding mechanism 4, and an electromagnetic brake 7 as a load device is connected to this speed increasing mechanism 6. Pullout speed VL when the rope 2 is pulled out is detected by a detector 8 arranged on a shaft of the winding drum, and operation is performed on a rope load LL from an expression [LL =Bi+ML+(a×Mi)] according to acceleration (a) found from this speed VaL, a load M, inertial mass Mi and brake force B_i, and operation is performed on power L_w from an expression [Lw=VL×LL×9.8] according to the rope pullout speed Vt and the rope load LL.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
