PURPOSE:To accurately and automatically measure a test current and an operation time limit by holding and displaying a last output when the earth leak breaker trips and measuring the limit of the feeding time of the test current. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a mechanism which supplies the test current to one phase of the earth leak breaker 1 from an AC test current power source part 2 through a current converter part 5, a current zero-point detection part 4, and a test current feed switch 6, an AC ammeter part 7 which has a current hold display, a timer part 9, a time-limit display part 10, and a recording part 8. Then when the test current is cased because of the tripping of the breaker 1 and no zero-point detection signal 4 is obtained, the least output of the converter part 5 is held and displayed as an operating test current and the feeding time of the test current is measured by a timer 9 associated operatively with the detection part 4 to hold and display the time limit at the part 10. At the same time, the test current and time-limit measurement result at the time of the tripping are recorded 8.
