PURPOSE: To execute the changing work of a roll in a very easy manner in a short time by rotating a main shaft to rotate the rotary shaft side to obtain the same condition when a cylindrical body is rotated compared with the case where the cylindrical body is manually rotated by operators. ;CONSTITUTION: When a roll advances/retracts a fixing pin 12 to fix a roll sleeve which is provided in an attachable/detachable manner on the outer circumferential surface of a main shaft through the roll sleeve by moving a rotary shaft body 14 in the axial direction from the surface of the main shaft through an advancing/retracting member 15, an engagement holding body 34 to engage and hold a cylindrical body 17 connected to the rotary shaft body 14 is provided on a roll changing device side, and the rotary shaft body 1 4 is rotated by rotating the main shaft side instead of rotating the cylindrical body 17.
