PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a vibration on a reverse voltage which is generated at the time of commutation of a thyristor as low as possible by a method in which a resistor through which the charge which is stored in a capacitor when a forward voltage is applied is discharged is connected in parallel to the capacitor. ;SOLUTION: A series circuit consisting of a capacitor 7 which suppresses a vibration on a reverse voltage which is generated at the time of commutation of a thyristor 1 and a diode 8 which prevents a current from flowing into the capacitor 7 is connected between the input side terminals of an inverter circuit 2. A resistor 9 through which the charge which is stored in the capacitor 7 when a forward voltage is applied is connected in parallel to the capacitor 7. With this constitution, as a vibration which is generated on the reverse voltage at the time of commutation of the thyristor can be suppressed as low as possible by the capacitor, the voltage rating of the inverter circuit can be designed as high as the level of the voltage rating of the thyristor. As a result, the efficient circuit design can be realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
