PURPOSE: To cover a geological survey core collected from the ground with a sleeve without fitting a core elevator. ;CONSTITUTION: An inner pipe 3 is removably inserted on the tip side of an outer pipe 1, a soft sleeve 6 is stored in a circular storage section 52 provided on the tip side of the inner pipe 3, the outer pipe 1 is inserted into the ground, the outer pipe 1 is rotated by a drive section on the ground, and a core is formed by a bit 2 provided at the tip of the outer pipe 1. The core is covered by the sleeve 6 delivered from the storage section 52 and collected in the inner pipe 3. In this geological survey core collecting device, the diameter at the rear end section of the sleeve 6 is shrunk, and a hook section 63 having an opening section 62 smaller than the outer diameter of the core and hooked on the rear end section of the core is provided at the rear end section 61 of the sleeve 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
