PURPOSE:To detect the shifting of the phase of a clock signal in respective distributing destinations by supplying a referring signal to adjust the phase of a clock signal to respective distributing destinations of the clock signal with a second signal channel. CONSTITUTION:In respective phase adjusting means A-C, a phase detecting circuit 102 detects the phase difference between a referring signal sent from a circuit 103 or 103' for driving through a second signal channel 106 and a clock signal through a variable delaying circuit 101 of respective phase adjusting means and feeds back the result to the variable delaying circuit 101. The phase difference detecting circuit 102 controls the signal propagating time of the variable delaying circuit 101 so that an absolute value can be equal and a code can be reversed for the phase difference between the clock signal and the reference signal when the reference signal is sent from left to right on a signal channel 106 of bidirectionality and for the phase difference between them when the reference signal is sent from right to left. Thus, the phase adjustment of the clock signal can be automatized.
