PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even an unskilled technical worker to manufacture a wax pattern and more particularly to easily and rapidly form the occlusion surface of the wax pattern. SOLUTION: The prototype 9A of the crown restoration appliance used for restoring the form and function of the dental crown in case of the deficient dental crown is formed of a base part 11 and an occlusion surface molding 13 placed and fixed onto this base part 11. The occlusion surface 9A1 of the prototype 9A is formed by the occlusion surface molding 13. As a result, the formation of the occlusion surface of the prototype in compliance with the dental crown state of a patient is made possible.
