摘要

PURPOSE: To supply a vibration damping structure generating a damper effect and greatly enlarging the vibration absorbing scope of a building in a wide range of vibration scope from a large amplitude to a small one. ;CONSTITUTION: A holding member 22 vertically provided at the upper edge of a bracing 20 is composed of a first steel member 24 with a high rigidity and a low resistance having different elasticities or plasticities and a second steel member 26 with a low rigidity and a high registance.
