CONVEYOR GUARD CURTAIN, MOUNTING DEVICE THEREFOR AND GUARD CURTAIN MOUNTING METHOD USING THE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by safely and easily providing a guard curtain around the extensible endless belt of a conveyor device. ;SOLUTION: Strip type curtains 15A to 15D pulled out from a roll core 32 mounted on a roll support member 43 are engaged with a guide pin 41 via the side connection holes 17 thereof, and wound around each guide drum 40. Thereafter, each guide drum 40 is synchronously rotated on the operation of each rotary motor 42, and the curtains 15A to 15D are thereby delivered along an endless belt. Once the strip type curtains 15A to 15D are delivered from each guide drum 40, a joint wire connection part is connected to the curtains 15A to 15D and, then, the side connection holes 17 adjacent to each other are connected through a connection belt 20, thereby forming a cylindrical body 40 of the prescribed length. The feed of the strip type curtains 15A to 15D and the connection of the side connection holes 17 are repeated and the cylindrical body 45 is extended downward, thereby forming a guard curtain 15. For overhauling the curtain 15, each guide drum 40 is reversed, with the side connection holes 17 released from a connection state, and the strip type curtains 15A to 15D are wound around the roll core 32.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
