PURPOSE:To collect exhaust gas without releasing to the atmosphere by using fluorinated type oil, which has a large specific gravity and is inert for exhaust gas such as t-butyl-alcohol, as the oil for an oil rotation pump, separating the exhaust gas according to the difference in the specific gravity from the fluorinated type oil, and thereupon dissolving it in water. CONSTITUTION:The suction hole of an oil rotation pump 10 is connected with a vacuum trough 20 via a suction pipe 22, and an organism specimen 21 to be frozen and dried is accommodated in the vacuum trough 20. Via the exhaust pipe 31, a water tank 30 is connected with the gas exhaust hole of this oil rotation pump 10, which is filled with a fluorinated type oil 11 to the exhaust pipe 31 side. The water contained in the organism specimen 21 is substituted with a component, for example t-butyl-alcohol. To dry the specimen 21, evacuation is made by the oil rotation pump 10 via the suction pipe 22. Now the sublimated t-butyl-alcohol gas is taken in via the suction pipe 22 into the fluorinated type oil 11 in the oil rotation pump 10. Thereby the t-butyl-alcohol can be collected together with water 32 without releasing to the atmosphere.
