PURPOSE: To obtain granular powder easy in industrial handling by treating large quantities of floating powder by combination of decompressed deaeration operation and pressurizing operation. ;CONSTITUTION: Powder to be treated is changed into a closable pressure vessel 1 variable in the internal pressure. The inside of the vessel 1 is decompressed to the pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure. The pressure of the inside of the decompressed vessel is rapidly raised. Powdery lumps are pressurized by holding them at this pressure or the pressure exceeding the same. The pressure of the inside of the vessel 1 is suddenly decompressed and powder is dispersed which has been lumped and reduced in volume and has flocculation properties. The equipment is constituted of a main body E incorporating the closable and pressurizable vessel 1, a charging means A for feeding the powder to be treated into the vessel 1, a pressurizing means B for pressurizing the inside of the vessel 1, a decompression means C for decompressing the inside of the vessel 1, a discharge means F for discharging the treated powder, a valve means constituted of valve groups 2, 3, 13-18 for opening/ closing the routes between the main body E and the respective means and a controlling device D which sends signals to the respective parts and successively performs control.
