VERTICAL HEAVY-LOAD LIFT OF OVERHEAD CRANE AND CONVEYING METHOD USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvements in conveying work efficiency by dispensing with slinging work at the time of transferring a lifted cargo to an overhead crane and thereby making the cargo directly transferrable to the crane. ;SOLUTION: A vertical heavy-load lift 28 is installed in and around an end part at the load taking side of a main rail. This lift 28 installs a heavy-load lifting rail 32 on the underside of a top plate 30, installing a hoist 26 shiftably in this rail 32 which is set up after being butted to either of both first and second girders of a conveying girder being situated in the load taking side end part of the main rail so as to become a straight line at a time when the lift 28 is made to go up. The top plate 30 is liftably suspended from a temporary roof 10 via a winch 38. Successively materials 44 are hung down from a hook 42 installed in the hoist 26.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
