PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reduction in cost in a cabinet for electronic equipment. ;SOLUTION: One pair of front side pillars 110, one pair of center pillars 112 and one pair of rear side pillars 114 are respectively provided extendedly in the height direction of a cabinet for electronic equipment and are fixed by spot welding in opposition to each other at the front side positions, the center positions and the rear side positions in the depth direction of the cabinet for electronic equipment on the insides of right and left side plates 101 and 102. Members for electronic equipment mounting are respectively mounted to the pillars 114 and the cabinet for elastic equipment constitutes a cabinet for rear mounting electronic equipment. The cabinet is constituted in such a structure that, when an electronic equipment to be mounted to the cabinet is a rear mounting electronic equipment, the members for electronic equipment mounting are respectively mounted to the pillars 110 and, when electronic equipments to be mounted to the cabinet are those to be mounted on the front and the rear surfaces, the members for electronic equipment mounting are respectively mounted to the pillars 112.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
