PURPOSE:To obtain the subject silky conjugate yarn having soft, pliant and dry touch by interlacing multifilament yarn having a prescribed single filament size or below with multifilament yarn having a prescribed breaking tenacity respectively with prescribed values of hot water shrinkage and dry heat shrinkage factors at a specific interlacing degree. CONSTITUTION:The objective conjugate yarn, composed of (A) 20-80% (denier ratio in the conjugate yarn) multifilament yarn having =3de single filament size, =0% hot water shrinkage factor (SHW) at 100 deg.C and =0% dry heat shrinkage factor (SHD) at 160 deg.C and (B) multifilament yarn having =120g breaking tenacity and =0% SHW and obtained by interlacing the components having =5% difference [SHD of the component (B) - SHD of the component (A)] at 20-100 interlacements/m interlacing degree.
